This course material describes the back-calculated modulus of pavement structures in which pavement temperature was recorded at the mid-depth of the asphalt layer. This course also explains Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) and standalone analyses of Accelerated Load Facility (ALF) pavements. This course material is based on Mechanistics - Empirical Analysis of ALF Test Lanes Publication No. FHWA-HRT-11-045 Section 4.

At the conclusion of this course, the learner will have a better understanding of mechanistic performance analyses of ALF Lanes, as well as an understanding of the following topics:
